4oz Ghirardelli Bittersweet Chocolate (broken into small pieces)
4T Unsalted Butter (cut into small pieces)
1½ Cups Sugar
½ Cup Water
¼ Cup Light Corn Syrup
1t Vanilla Extract
1. In a heavy saucepan over medium heat, combine chocolate, sugar, water & corn syrup.
2. Stir continuously until chocolate & butter has melted and sugar is dissolved.
3. When mixture comes to a boil, reduce heat and continue slightly boiling for 10 minutes, stirring often.
4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
